The Thinking Environment (TE), developed by Time to Think, a leadership and coaching company founded by Nancy Kline, is a set of conditions that treats people in a manner that encourages them to think well for themselves and as the quality of thinking improves, the quality of everything we do improves.
Like a conductor of an orchestra gets all the musicians to work together to create something extraordinary, a leader is expected to mobilise and harness the full potential of each team member and direct their collective effort to achieving results.

By learning the art of creating a TE, leaders will be able to facilitate richer engagements that get the best out of each person and enable the group to collectively learn and grow. In a TE, meetings are more effective in both the time being spent as well as the outcomes achieved.
